My role is to look after our patients, to be sure they feel comfortable and help ease nerves from the general stereotype that dentist visits can be for many people. I also provide a helping hand to the dentist and hygienist in our practice, making sure all treatments and appointments are smooth sailing. My field of expertise is customer service, which I have been in for 4 years now.

My background comes from childcare and retail/customer service. Both of these industries nicely link into dentistry, from the patient care side and I’m able to add my skills from past roles into this profession with what I’m best at.

I decided to work for Beyond Dental because dental nursing had always been something that had taken my interest. Having had braces done before and being in and out of the dentist chair, I would always look up to the dental nurses who would look after you whilst in surgery. As I’m always keen to learn something new, I came across Beyond Dental to start my career. We have lovely staff members who really care for our patients and a modern outlook on how dental practices should run so that patients can get their best outcome on the treatments they choose.

Beyond Dental is different to other practices because the time and care allocated to each patient that comes through our door resonate with the company’s outlook on the fact that you’re satisfied with each visit you have and look forward to coming back for future treatments. The practice also has an extremely modern interior with newly updated facilities that almost feel homely, making you comfortable in the dental chair and less daunting.

I’ve always been interested in learning new topics, so museum trips and watching documentaries have always been fun for me, as well as discovering new informal books, such as forensics and psychology. I’m also a very big shopaholic and love a good shopping trip, out with friends for clothes and beauty items.
