Enlighten Whitening: Step by Step

When it comes to the Enlighten whitening treatment, there are a few steps involved to help you achieve that dazzling smile you have always dreamed of.

Step 1

When you make your initial enquiry, we’ll often be in touch with you that very same day, just to have an informal chat with you about what it is you want to achieve. From there, we’ll arrange an in-clinic consultation with one of our dentists and teeth whitening experts.

Step 2

During your consultation, we’ll carry out some scans of your teeth and mouth so that the team at Enlighten can create the high-quality trays you will use for your at-home whitening treatment. This usually takes around two weeks, so in the meantime we’ll give you a special toothpaste which we will ask you to use twice a day for those two weeks.

Step 3

When your Enlighten whitening trays are ready, we’ll ask you to pop by your Beyond Dental practice to pick them up. These trays come with the Enlighten whitening gel which you will use at home every night for two weeks - don’t worry, it’s super simple and takes just a few minutes to do before you go to bed.

Step 4

After those two weeks, we’ll ask you to come back into the practice where your Beyond Dental dentist will carry out a 40-minute whitening treatment. This final treatment will help to boost your shade of whiteness and your dentist will ensure that your new bright white smile is even and natural looking. There you have it - a fantastic, bright white smile in just 2-4 weeks!

Enlighten teeth whitening is a treatment used to make the teeth up to 16 shades brighter in a short space of time. You will be given custom whitening trays to use at home, then after you have completed that stage, you will be asked to come back to the dentist for a final 40-minute whitening treatment that gives your teeth that extra boost! Within 2-4 weeks (including the time taken to create your custom trays), you will have a complete transformation!

Is Enlighten Whitening Painful?

Enlighten whitening is not painful at all, nor does it cause any sensitivity after the treatment. If you do experience any kind of pain or sensitivity after the treatment, it is likely to be unrelated, so it is important that you visit your dentist for a checkup.

Is Enlighten Whitening Safe?

Enlighten whitening is a completely safe treatment with safe ingredients. Many teeth whitening kits that you can buy online are dangerous, unregulated and unsafe, so you should always go to your dentist for safe and effective teeth whitening treatments, like Enlighten whitening.

How Long Does Enlighten Whitening Take?
