In most cases, the process starts by applying a small amount of whitening gel either directly onto your teeth or by using whitening trays.

Yes, professional teeth whitening is very safe. As teeth whitening is a form of dentistry, professional teeth whitening must be carried out by a qualified and registered dentist. The teeth whitening treatments and gels used in professional teeth whitening are regulated and contain prescription-only materials and, whilst it might seem more cost-effective to use a shop-bought home-whitening kit, you might end up paying more in dental fees in the long run.
