Top 10 All-on-4 FAQs
Quick answers to the most common questions about All-on-4 – what it is, who it may suit, and how treatment is staged from consultation to final teeth.
1. What is All-on-4?
All-on-4 is a full-arch implant approach where a complete set of teeth is supported using a small number of implants. The exact plan depends on your anatomy and needs, so suitability must be assessed clinically.
2. Who is All-on-4 suitable for?
All-on-4 may suit people who have multiple missing teeth or teeth that can’t be saved and want a fixed-feeling solution. Suitability depends on factors such as bone support, gum health, bite, and medical history, so a consultation is essential.
3. Is All-on-4 the same as Same Day Teeth?
Not exactly. All-on-4 is a specific way of supporting a full arch with implants, while Same Day Teeth is a term often used when temporary fixed teeth can be fitted on the day of implant placement for suitable patients. Your clinician will explain which approach fits your case.
4. What happens during an All-on-4 consultation?
Your clinician will assess your teeth, gums, bite, and bone support and discuss your goals and expectations. If All-on-4 is an option, you’ll be guided through the likely stages, timelines, and what preparation may be needed before treatment.
5. What happens during All-on-4 treatment?
Treatment is planned in stages and usually involves implant placement and fitting a restoration according to your plan. In some cases, temporary fixed teeth may be fitted first while healing takes place. Your clinician will explain what the day of treatment involves and how aftercare works.
6. How long does it take to complete All-on-4?
Timelines vary depending on healing, the complexity of your plan, and whether preparatory steps are needed. Your clinician will provide a tailored estimate and explain what affects the overall schedule.
7. Does All-on-4 hurt?
Some post-operative discomfort is common after implant surgery, but experiences vary. Your clinician will explain what’s typical, how discomfort is usually managed, and when you should contact the practice if symptoms feel unusual.
8. What if I don’t have enough bone for All-on-4?
If bone support is limited, your clinician will discuss options based on your anatomy and goals. That might involve a different implant approach or an alternative tooth replacement plan, depending on what’s suitable.
9. How do I look after All-on-4 implants and teeth?
You’ll need thorough daily cleaning and regular professional maintenance to support long-term gum health. Your clinician can recommend cleaning tools and a routine suited to your restoration and help you understand what to watch for over time.
10. How much does All-on-4 cost?
Cost varies depending on complexity, the type of restoration, and what’s included in the plan. After assessment, your clinician can provide a tailored quote and explain what the treatment typically involves from start to finish.

All On Four Dental Implants
Dentures often feature in the dental nightmares of older patients, with years of horror stories and bad experiences giving a terrible impression. Although a traditional tooth-loss solution, dentures have very limited success and are not only inconvenient but hugely uncomfortable. They make chewing difficult, they are unstable and can move around in your mouth and, if not fitted or designed properly, they can look and feel awkward.
There is no need to use this outdated treatment, as All On Four dental implants work by restoring both your natural smile and mouth function with scientifically designed implants! Using four specially angled implants, teeth can be replaced in just a few appointments and offer a replacement for uncomfortable dentures.
With our flexible and affordable payment plans, the cost of your treatment can be reduced into more manageable amounts. Plus, you can sit back and relax in our state of the art clinic with a range of entertainment options! - Once the titanium implants have been fitted, we will place some temporary prosthetic teeth so that you can leave with a smile, both literally and figuratively.
